Individual Headshot
A great headshot is the best way to market yourself
Your headshot is your first impression and it should be an organic headshot: a photo of your most natural self, looking relaxed, confident, and in control of your career.
What if I’m not photogenic? Don’t worry; our process is easy and painless and we work our butts off to make sure you look great! We’ll help you pick the best clothing for your shoot, coach you into poses, and keep you relaxed, so we capture your best self.
I was very happy with the quality of my headshots, especially for the price. Also, the entire staff was super friendly! I also appreciated the COVID protocols; I felt quite safe throughout the session.

How to look good in your headshot: Tips for getting the most out of your portrait session
1. Dress to impress: Choose clothing that errs on the side of professional but not stuffy. If you dress too casually, it will look like you didn’t realize today was picture day. Your photographer will get a casual and friendly look out of your posing and smile, so don’t worry about being overdressed. Here are some in-depth tips on choosing clothing that flatters you for a photo.
2. Smile: It’s not about how well you can say “CHEEEEESE,” it’s about how much you mean it. Smile at the lens like it’s an old friend you’re seeing for the first time in years and you’re happy to be reunited. The photographer will talk to you, give you feedback, and coach you into a natural smile, so don’t think too much about what your smile looks like because that’s our job; instead, think about how much you mean it.
3. Lean in toward the camera: A great headshot reproduces the feeling you get when you meet someone for the first time and get a great first impression. So lean toward the camera just slightly, like you’re leaning in for a friendly handshake. This pushes your eyes toward the lens and makes them the focus of the photo.
4. Show the photographer how you do your hair: Make sure the photographer knows how you normally place your hair. Do you tuck some behind your ear? Do you like it parted on the left or the right? We’ll watch for any strays that look out of place, so check your hair in the mirror before your photo is taken so we know what to look for. Think about TV news anchors—their hair is usually symmetrical, you can see the length, and there are no stray pieces out of place to distract the eye.
5. Stay loose: Remember that it’s no big deal. If you don’t like a photo, it can be deleted. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. If you’re feeling stressed, it might come across in the photos, so take a few deep breaths, pause, and take a break when you need one to re-center yourself. It’s our job to take great photos of you, so relax and trust the process.
You’ve made me look better than I have in years! Thanks so very very much!
