How long the gallery is up
Your gallery will be online for 90 days. If you need to access the photos again after it’s taken down it can be reinstated, but file recovery fees will start to take effect if you need your gallery or your chosen files resent 1 year or longer after your shoot date.
How long Organic Headshots saves the photos
Make sure you save your photos in a safe place- they are now your responsibility. Organic Headshots archives all photos indefinitely, but does not guarantee against catastrophic data loss. We have back-up systems in place, but it is impossible to be completely protected against possible corrupted files, hard drive failure, loss, etc. And after a while you’ll want to take new photos anyway, so come back and see us!
High resolution vs. low resolution
You were most likely sent photo files as high resolution .jpgs (350 DPI and about 8×12 inches) fit for print. Use these images for everything you need, especially when you print them on paper, in a magazine, brochure, or other printing use.
If the files are too large for any of your uses and you cannot shrink them down on your own, let us know and we’ll send you lower resolution files for web only. Also let us know if you have any file size or type guidelines given to you by your office, a publisher, web designer, or other production department.
SUPER TIP: If you email the high resolution images to someone, make sure you are including them as an attachment and not pasting them into the body of the email. Some email programs will compress and shrink the photos and make them low resolution when pasting them in the body of the email.

If you think we didn’t work hard enough to get a photo you can be proud of, we will be happy to retake all the photos and start from scratch. It’s important to us that you walk away with a photo of yourself that you absolutely love.
